These activities focus on motor skill development by improving the muscles in the fingers and hands, strengthening hand grip, and developing wrist movement. By doing all of those things, your child will be better prepared to hold a pencil for long periods of time, and learn to write with strong and controlled muscles. These fine motor skills activities include art projects like painting and tissue paper bouquets, to science projects like silly putty, and even to games like water relay! Your kids are sure to have a blast with these activities, and will be developing important skills without even knowing it.

    Creativity and thinking skills development

Helps your child creatively explore the arts, movement, drama, and music
When a child is asked to “invent” a solution to a problem, the child must draw upon previous knowledge, skills, creativity, and experience while keeping in mind imagination. The student also recognizes areas where new learnings must be acquired in order to understand or address the problem.

This information must then be applied through critical and creative thinking and problem-solving, ideas and imagination become reality as children create inventive solutions, illustrate their ideas, and make models of their inventions. Creative thinking lesson plans provide children with opportunities to develop and practice higher-order thinking skills.

    Social skills development

Through various fun games and activities with other children the child is sure to develop and carry out their social skills interacting with each other. Some games take in the form of physical activity while others through sensory play, musical sing-a-longs etc. Being kind and empathetic, and playing fairly are all things that make up character—and we think it’s important to focus on them.
